The name 1809 Underground pays tribute to our roots – literally. Effingham, Ontario, where our nursery is located, was established in 1809. We honor that legacy by building something just as foundational: a nursery grounded in craftsmanship, quality, and a return to the core values of cannabis cultivation. What we grow here isn’t just plants – it’s tradition, innovation, and trust, rooted deep in Canadian soil.
